Privacy Policy

Introduction

InverseAI Podcast is operated by Inverse.AI LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and this policy sets out plainly what we do with your recordings and your account. In short: your audio is used to produce your result and nothing else, we do not train models on your recordings, and we do not sell personal data or run advertising trackers.

How we handle your uploaded audio and video

Uploads are transferred over encrypted connections. When you upload a recording we decode it, run it through our processing model, and store the result so your browser can play and download it. That is the only purpose it is used for.

Everything produced from a recording is deleted automatically 7 days after processing, by a scheduled job rather than by hand. You can also delete any recording yourself at any time. After deletion we keep only aggregated statistics — how many files were processed and for how long — which are not linked to the contents of any recording.

How we handle processing

Processing runs on GPU servers we rent from a cloud provider. Only the file you submit is sent there; it is processed, and the result is written back to storage we control. We do not grant anyone the right to use your audio for their own purposes, and the same 7 daysdeletion applies to everything produced along the way.

Using the service without an account

You can process a limited number of files without signing up. We issue your browser a signed session token and store no name, no email address and no password against it. If you later create an account, the recordings from that session move across to it.

What we store if you create an account

• Your email address, used to identify you and sign you in.
• A display name, if you give one.
• A hash of your password. We never store the password itself and cannot recover it.
• Your plan, and a record of how much audio you have processed.

The usage record is append-only: deleting a recording does not erase its usage entry, because otherwise a daily allowance could be reset by deleting files.

Server logs

No personal data is required to use the service. Our servers do record standard technical information — IP address, browser and device type, and the pages requested — which we use to keep the service secure, diagnose faults and understand which features are used. These logs are not used to build a profile of you, and we do not share them with third parties — though in the event of a security incident they may be shared with the authorities where the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear or block browser storage through your browser settings, though signing in will not work without it.

One cookie, lang, remembers the site language you chose. It is set only when you visit a translated page, and then lasts until you close your browser, or when you choose a language in the language switcher, and then lasts up to 6 months. It is not used for tracking.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and features are used. It receives page addresses, approximate location and device type, and events such as “a file was uploaded” — never your audio, file names, name or email address. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first, and no analytics cookies are set unless they accept. You can change your mind by clearing this site’s storage in your browser.

Data security

Audio is transferred over encrypted connections, and a recording can only be downloaded by the account or session that created it. We take reasonable measures to protect against unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, so plainly: if you have a recording that must never leave your own machine, do not upload it to any online service, including this one.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data. Write to support@inverseai.com and we will action it.

Our site may link to sites we do not operate. This policy does not govern them, and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and give notice where the law requires it.
